Twin Moons Pottery Classes
At Twin Moons Pottery we love to have fun with clay!!!!Whether you are a budding potter, or a seasoned potter we have classes to fit your needs. Our classes include "Big Hands, Little Hands" classes that are for a parent and child to your very own private lessons. At Twin Moons Pottery we can work classes around your schedule making it easier for our students. In addition to classes we also work with Boy and Girl Scout troops that are working on their pottery badges.
Class sessions, at Twin Moons will begin in May weather permitting.
Classes at Twin Moons Pottery
"Big Hands Little Hands"- class for one parent and child 6-12. 2 hour class We will explore clay by creating a hand built project. Pieces will be fired and glazed for pick up later Price: $100.00
"Try it out Class"- 2 hour class in studio, exploring clay by hand building and spending some time on the pottery wheel. No actual pieces will be made in this class, but if you like the price can be applied to the six week lesson class. Price: $50.00 per student.
"Intro to Pottery" Six week session of 2 1/2 hour classes that focuses on essential techniques in becoming a potter. We will explore wedging, ceramic vocabulary, pinch pots, coiling, slab forms and learning the basics of throwing, centering, and create simple bowls, mugs and cylinders. What is included: Instruction, 12 1/2 pounds of high fire clay, use of studio equipment, bisque and final glaze firings of pieces made in class, high fire glazes on pieces created in class. All the necessary things to make your first pottery pieces.
Price:$375.00 payable at first class.
